First Impressions

At first glance, the Bic Cristal is a typical run of the mill ink pen with no stand out features. Personally I think that makes the Cristal shine in a very underappreciated sort of way. The Cristal for the most part is a very reliable pen with a utilitarian, everyday sort of usefulness. Bic makes it very easy to pick up this pen and do anything from doodle a quick sketch to writing your next class assignment, without being too flashy.

Writing Experience

Extremely smooth on almost any surface of paper. Ink flow is consistent and clean, very reliable easy to pick up and go.

Pros

• Excellent value for beginners and veterans - especially when purchased in a bundle pack.
• Clear, see-through barrel to guage ink levels

Cons

• Not very aesthetic, or fancy to look at
• Grip may not be for everyone, may not be comfortable for long writing sessions
